The distinctive city centre is around 200 metres from the hotel. Not only is it the heart of Bolzano, with the cathedral and the typical piazza lined with open-air cafés, it is also home to all of the city’s biggest happenings, including the famous Christmas markets, the flower, pumpkin and Speck festivals, the finishing line of international sporting events such as the “San Silvestro Marathon”, and much more besides.

Also situated in the city centre is the Bolzano Museum where you can see Ötzi, the Iceman mummy from the Similaun mountain.

After a brief mention of the events and culture, we must not forget the shopping on offer. In the delightful stores in the arcades you can find everything from traditional loden goods to the latest season’s clothes and accessories.
